Refund policy

We have a 14-day return policy. This means that you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags attached, and in the original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To initiate a return, you can contact us at bestellen@mautiesmama.nl. Please note that returns must be sent to the following address: Middenstraat 45, 9611KE Sappemeer

If your return is accepted, we will send you a return shipping label, with instructions on how and where to send the package. Items that are returned to us without a return request will not be accepted.

Damage and Issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it for you.

 

Exceptions/No Return Items
Certain types of items may not be returned, including perishables (such as food, flowers, or plants), customized products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care items (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns of hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns about your specific item.

Sale items and gift cards are unfortunately not returnable.

 

Exchange
The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the item you have and purchase the new item separately once the return has been accepted.

 

Legal 14-day cooling-off period in the EU
Without prejudice to the above, if the goods are shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without giving any reason. As above, your item must be in the same condition as you received it, unworn or unused, with labels and in its original packaging. You will also need a receipt or proof of purchase.

PLEASE NOTE: There is no right of withdrawal if the products are custom-made according to its specifications or have a short shelf life. This applies to "Custommade" and "self-assembled" products.

 

Refund
Once we have received and inspected your return, you will be notified and we will also let you know if the return has been approved. If approved, you will automatically be refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and deposit your refund.
Please contact us at bestellen@mautiesmama.nl if it has been more than 15 business days since we approved your return.

The consumer bears the direct costs of (re)sending the product.

*If a "custom" product is not manufactured correctly, the entrepreneur will reimburse the return and shipping costs of the adjusted/new product.

 

Returns handling:

  • You must report a return in writing, by e-mail (info@mautiesmama.nl) or by correctly completed form (see below).
  • The product must be returned undamaged and in the original packaging, as far as possible. All products are wrapped in cellophane, so you can clearly see and assess the color.
  • PLEASE NOTE: if you have received a letterbox package, you will also receive a letterbox package return label. This means that the package must meet the following requirements: max. 38 x 26.5 x 3.2 cm.
