About Mauties Mama – Handmade Baby Products with Love
Welcome to Mauties Mama! My name is Daniëlle ten Cate, proud mother of Maud (better known as Mautie) and the driving force behind this webshop. Together with my family – Mautie as our radiant muse and show model, and my partner Mark, who does a lot behind the scenes – we form the heart of Mauties Mama.
How Mauties Mama came into being
Mauties Mama began from a deeply personal journey. During a challenging time in my life, I found healing in crochet and sewing. It became my way to see light in dark days, a creative outlet that slowly grew into a passion. The first products I made were infused with love and inspiration from my experiences as a new mother.
As a new parent, I felt like there was something missing in the world of baby products: unique, carefully crafted items that reflected the special magic of postpartum. Many products felt like standard, bulky items, while I longed for something truly special – something that would capture the unique feeling of parenthood.
Our mission: Special products for special moments
At Mauties Mama, everything revolves around creating products that give that little bit extra. Whether it is a handmade baby nest, a personal maternity gift, or a completely customized product: every item is made with love and attention. We do not make mass products, but unique pieces that perfectly match your wishes and needs.
With our custom-made products I give parents the opportunity to choose something truly special – exactly what I missed when Mautie was born. Our products are not only functional, but also made to make the postpartum period and parenthood extra special.
